Jour 148: Mystery Incorporated Link Love

Scooby Dooby Doo!

Are you guys familiar with Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated? It's the latest incarnation of the death-defyingly popular TV show and I am SO ADDICTED TO IT RIGHT NOW. They really take the idea of the show (four teens solving mysteries with a silly dog) into the 21st century, complete with scary monsters, cell phones, love triangles, and lots and lots of tongue-in-cheek humour.

Totally unrelated, I have dressed as both Velma *and* Daphne on separate Halloweens. FYI. It all depends on the length of my hair at the time.

Anyway, inspired by this sudden, unexpectedly awesome rebirth of a TV show I loved as a kid, I present... link luuurve!

Daphne is always well put together, even when she's being held hostage by various monsters-who-turn-out-not-to-actually-be-monsters. With that in mind, Oh So Pretty offers four frugal and easy beauty tricks. I usually sleep with my hair in a messy bun, glad to know I've secretly making my hair more awesome!

One Frugal Girl has this great post (including a fabulous graphic) to help you save money at the grocery store by avoiding spending traps. When you consume as much food as Shaggy (and Scooby), every penny counts!

I'm sure Scooby would be all over any of the recipes included in Fabulously Broke in the City's mouth-watering blog post, fun with Nutella.

Fred's father is the Mayor of Crystal Cove, which can lead to some tension with Fred's passion for crime-busting. Gail Vaz-Oxlade wrote this post about allowance and cutting the purse strings... which Fred's father may wind up doing, if Fred keeps messing with his plans!

Velma is smart and, in this new series, also really funny and sexy. But her main character trait is her intelligence, which is why Thirty Six Months' post about 10 degrees hiring managers don't want to see, made me think of V right away.
