|I hope the bridesmaid with her hands on her ears is invited to the anniversary party.|
It's the one-year anniversary of William and Kate's wedding! Remember how awesome that was?Remember I wrote this hilarious post about their frugal wedding? And this one, about Kate's frugal style?
In true normal people/frugally fabulous style, they apparently are spending their anniversary hanging out with friends. Not renewing their vows on the Eiffel Tower (Mariah and Nick), not in a lavish backyard ceremony (JLo and Marc), and it doesn't sound like they intend to mark every anniversary with a new wedding ceremony (Heidi and Seal). [Theory: celebrities who renew their vows every year are the sorts of people who got married mostly just for the wedding, not for the marriage. Notice how so many of these obsessively-vow-renewing people wind up divorcing after a few years?]
Fabulously FruGirl posted her thoughts about Gail Vaz-Oxlade's Princess show... clearly about a different kind of Princess than Kate! (OK, she's a Duchess, but work with me here)
Bridget at Money After Graduation wrote this primer on frugal fashion, including the never-out-of-fashion tip to "Be Kate Middleton when you go out, not Paris Hilton."
Adina at Blue Collar, Red Lipstick wrote about how to dress frugally fashionably, just like how Kate (and Pippa) re-use outfits and continue to be international fashion stars.
Ella from Oslo posted about maternity leave in Norway... sounds like when Kate (inevitably) gets knocked up, she'd do well to hang out there!
Niki from Debt Free By 30 posted about how she saves money grocery shopping, using techniques I'm sure Kate uses too. Have you seen the shots of her grocery shopping? She clearly uses a list and shops sensibly.
This guest post from Budgeting in the Fun Stuff is about how to plan a frugal wedding... much like Wills and Kate did!
